The Canal Boat Club CBC Class 6 Berth Boats

Design: This boat is a 58ft long, 6 berth cruiser stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.

Features: There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system.

Saloon: Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven, microwave, refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces.

Berths: As this is a 6 berth boat, there is a fixed double at the front of the boat, in its own private room. There is also a dinette/double conversion at the rear and two single beds in the centre.

Bedding: Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.

Bathroom: The bathroom comes complete with a wash hand basin, electronically operated flush toilet, and shower or hip bath/shower. There is an extra toilet in the centre of the boat. A 240v shaver socket is also available.

Hip Baths are on the following boats:
Gorgeous Grace & Happy Wanderer at Aldermaston, Jobi Red and Dusky Conure at Hilperton, Imperial Amazon and Burmese Blossom at Gayton, Wisp of the Water and Buru Island from Worcester.
All the other boats have walk in showers.

Electric: The 1200w inverter supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances and to a socket on the boat. (Please note: if you decide to use any of your own electrical appliances, you do so at your own risk).

Welcome Pack: Includes 1 bottle of washing up liquid, 1 dishcloth, 1 tea towel, 1 floor cloth, toilet roll & bin liner. Helmsman's waterproofs & umbrella.

Additional Information: Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge.
