Instead you experience the wonders and great heritage of the waterways. Mother Nature goes about her business as the days and the seasons change. Those incomparable and hospitable canalside pubs. Fellow boaters passing the time of day. All of this at only 2 - 3 miles per hour! It really is a different world.
